Bread and Games 2.0

The two-minute animated film shows as a pixilation the course of a consumption-critical animated film, while around the workplace of the drawer more and more stimulants are brought in. The original animated film was created as a student work, which was shown at the International Animation Festival in Stuttgart many years ago as part of the “Young Animation” competition. Some 20 years later, the theme has been contextualized once again in this version 2.0.

The film was screened at the animated film festival CINANIMA 2017/Portugal.

Technique: hand drawing – full animation on paper/ pixilation with real objects.
