Tony’s Play_Station
Game after game, level after level and beer after beer, the main character in the 15-minute animated film “Tony’s Play_Station” passes the time on the PC. In the end, the question arises: Who is playing with whom?
The film was shown in most international animated film festivals around the globe and received several prizes, such as
1st Audience Award at the International Festival of Animated Film in Stuttgart,
“Best computeraidad animation film” Festival Arcipelago, Rom,
“1st Prize CortoImola-Festival”, Imola,
“Festival-Prize”, Targu Mures, Romania
“Tony’s Play_Station was created in a mix of hand-drawn animations and backgrounds, further processed in compositing with 2D and 3D software.
The Film Evaluation Office in Wiesbaden awarded the film “WERTVOLL“ (Valuable).
The “3rd game level” of the film then served as a template for a computer game that was produced for Stefan Raab’s TV show “TV-Total” by the company Brainpool. We created all designs and animations, both for the user interface and all levels as well as for packaging and press material.
